It’s always good to see new MMORPGs under development, even if they always come from China or Korea and we have to wait one or two years until they are released on the Asian market and then pray for a miracle to get a Western publisher.
Today I wanted to show you some trailers that caught my attention, for Revelation, a Chinese fantasy MMORPG developed by NetEase that was officially announced at GStar 2013.
The project was started back in 2009 so I guess they are getting closer to an official release. Revelation is using an in-house engine called BigBang, and as you can see in the Environment trailer below the graphic detail is pretty good. As posted by developers, the images used in the trailer are from the actual game and no post production effects were added.
The third trailer showcase the dual flight system found in game witch combines the air sprint system (similar to Blade and Soul) with the gliding system (that we saw previously in Aion). I”m not saying that Revelation is a clone, but it seems like NetEase is looking to expand into Korean market so they needed to play safe.
Stay with us as we continue to monitor Revelation’s development process.
