In most MMORPG games, you create your character with a variety of clothing, hair styles, faces, skin color, and other character features. Once you create your ideal character, you enter a massive online fantasy world where you perform various quests, as well as fight hordes of enemies in order to level up and customize your character.

Well, from playing Avabel for the first time, I don’t feel like I am creating a truly unique character and completing quests to level up and customize my character. Compared to popular MMORPG games, such as World of Warcraft and Star Wars the Old Republic, this game is definitely not in the same league in terms of game play and character customization.

For instance, there weren’t any quests whatsoever to complete; when you enter the game world, all you do is kill a few creatures. The creatures are so easy to defeat, and offer no challenge at all. The game world itself is really small, and it’s really confusing to figure out where to go. In WOW and SWTOR, you clearly know where to go to complete your quests. There weren’t that make options either to customize your character; in the create character screen, there were only five options for faces, skin color, hair color, and character style.

The only aspect of this game I found interesting was the shop. The avatar packs had some pretty unique avatars; I thought the Resort Swimsuit and Premium Best packs looked pretty good. All of the avatar packs had their own look and feel to them, and I thought that was nice to see. The items in the shop are pretty useful too, such as the weight, storage, and character expansion packs. The other items are pretty interesting too, but I was not able to use them because the game itself got too redundant after the first ten minutes.

The game controls are somewhat simple at first, but they can be confusing at times. Also some of the graphics are missing as you play, and this really turns me off as gamer who really appreciate the graphics in games. This game overall is not a good MMORPG game, and after playing the game for ten minutes, you will want to go play another MMORPG game.
